Last updated: 8 August 2026 App: Tarif Defteri (com.twoa.recipevault)
Tarif Defteri does not collect your data. Your recipes are stored only on your phone. The developer operates no server, so there is no copy of your data on our side.
This app is published by an individual developer based in the Netherlands.

Everything the app saves lives in your device's own storage:
Nobody, including the developer, can access this data. Uninstalling the app removes all of it from your device.
The app connects to the internet only for actions you start.
When you add a recipe link, the page is downloaded directly by your phone. It does not pass through any intermediate server. As with any internet request, this means the site sees your IP address and user-agent string.
When a recipe's cover image is displayed, the image is downloaded from wherever it is hosted — usually the recipe site's own server, or img.youtube.com for YouTube links. That host therefore sees your IP address. You can remove images from the recipe detail screen.
If you have set an AI API key in Settings, content is sent to Google's Gemini service in some cases:
These requests are made with your own API key and go directly to Google; they do not pass through the developer. Processing of that content is governed by Google's own terms: https://ai.google.dev/gemini-api/terms
If you set no key, the app sends nothing to any AI service. Most recipe links still work in that case.
If Android's built-in backup is enabled (managed in your device settings), your recipe collection is included in the backup tied to your Google account, so your recipes survive a change of phone.
Your AI API key is excluded from this backup and is not transferred to a new device; you will need to enter it again there. The backup belongs to your Google account and the developer has no access to it.
To turn backup off entirely: Android Settings → Google → Backup.
The app requests internet access and network state. These are used only to download the page behind a link you add, to display a recipe image, and — if you have set a key — to send requests to the AI service.
When you add a photo, the system file picker is used. This does not grant access to your gallery; it shares only the file you select.
Individually: delete from the recipe detail screen. All at once: Android Settings → Apps → Tarif Defteri → Storage → Clear data. Or uninstall the app.
Because no copy exists on any server of ours, there is no deletion request to send.
Since the app transmits no personal data to the developer and the developer keeps no records, there is no access, rectification, erasure or portability request you could meaningfully address to us — we hold no data of yours to act on.
You retain full control over the data on your device: edit it in the app, delete it, or remove it entirely by uninstalling.
If you choose to use the AI feature, Google acts as the data controller for the content you send; direct any rights requests concerning that content to Google.
If you have a complaint about this policy, you may contact the Dutch data protection authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens, https://autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl).
The app is not directed at children and collects no age information.
If this policy changes, the updated version is published at the same address and the date above is updated.
